Microsoft 365

Office and Outlook, on your own domain

The apps everyone already knows how to use, at your company name rather than a personal address - licensed, set up and migrated by us, on the same invoice as everything else.

Outlook on your domain Word, Excel, PowerPoint Teams OneDrive
What you get

The apps nobody has to be taught

Most of the argument for Microsoft 365 is that your team already knows it and your clients already expect the file formats.

01

Outlook at your own name

Business email people recognise.

you@yourcompany.com, in the Outlook everyone knows
Shared calendars and a company address book
Works on the desktop app, the web and the phone
02

The Office apps

Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the rest.

The files your accountant, your bank and your clients expect
Web and mobile on every plan; installed desktop apps on the higher ones
Real-time co-authoring rather than emailing versions around
03

Teams

Calls, chat and meetings in one place.

Video meetings with screen sharing and recording
Channels per project, so the thread is not in somebody's inbox
Guests can join without a licence
04

OneDrive and SharePoint

Files that are not on one laptop.

Cloud storage per user, synced to the desktop
Shared libraries that survive somebody leaving
Version history, so an overwrite is recoverable

Storage, desktop app entitlement and security tooling vary by plan. Those are Microsoft's figures and Microsoft revises them, so we would rather size it with you than publish something that is out of date by the time you read it.

Why buy it here

Same licences, someone to call

The product is identical whoever you buy it from. What differs is who does the setup and who answers when mail stops arriving on a Friday.

01

One invoice, one place to ask

Licences sit on the same bill as your hosting and domains, and the same people answer when something is wrong - rather than a support queue at a company that has never heard of you.

02

Set up and migrated for you

DNS records, verification, mail routing and moving your existing mail, contacts and calendars. Planned so nothing disappears during the switch.

03

Told which plan you need

The tiers differ in ways that are not obvious from a comparison table. Tell us how the team works and we will say which one fits - including when the cheapest is genuinely enough.

Questions

About Microsoft 365

Moving a whole team across? Open a chat and we will plan the cutover so nobody loses mail on the day.

What does it cost?

Microsoft prices per user and per tier and revises it periodically, so we quote it with the setup and migration rather than publish a figure that is out of date or wrong for your case. Tell us how many people need a licence.

Which plan should we be on?

The main question is whether you need the installed desktop apps or the web and mobile versions are enough, and whether you need the extra security and device management. We will ask about both rather than guess.

Do I need an internet connection to use it?

Not for the installed apps - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook work offline and sync when you reconnect. The web versions need a connection.

How many users can we have?

The Business plans suit organisations up to 300 users. Above that, the Enterprise plans are the right family and we can quote those too.

How many devices can each person install on?

On plans that include the desktop apps: up to five PCs or Macs, five tablets and five phones per user.

How many people can join a Teams meeting?

Up to 1,000 participants interacting, with larger view-only broadcast options on some plans.

Can you move our existing mail across?

Yes - mail, contacts and calendars, from most providers. Tell us where it is now and we will tell you honestly what the cutover involves.

Can we cancel?

Licences can be cancelled within 7 days of purchase for a pro-rata refund, less any cancellation fee that applies. After that the term runs to its end date.

Is there a free trial?

Microsoft offers a 30-day trial to first-time users. We can set that up so it converts cleanly rather than lapsing and taking mail with it.

How do we manage it day to day?

Through your SkyCore Host client area for the licences and billing, and the Microsoft admin centre for users, groups and policies.

How many licences do you need?

Tell us the number and where your mail lives now, and we will quote it and plan the move.
